A little temporal shifting and Pike is a deer in headlights. Sisko was a god before breakfast and still raised a kid single. We don't even wanna see the Pike from Mirror world. *shudders
What a powerfully subtle piece. I can see Zelda mourning the separation that Link's artificial slumber has created. It could also be interpreted as a game over screen (Zelda mourning over the actual death of her knight), or the stress that she feels imagining this possibility after feeling the need to ask them to put themselves into mortal peril time and time again. Thank you for sharing.

As a kid I shouted at the screen telling max to just chill with Goof and enjoy the fishing. Now I'm an old and I am still trying to learn all the dance moves from the final scene.
Perhaps the artist meant to imy the surgery is to remove the roots and permanently stop regrowth of antlers.
