Ya know, I think a lot of people miss the point on this. There are some real biggots that hate trans and yadda yadda, but the majority of joe everyman voter is really saying "im struggling to pay my bills and all you care about is peoples genders, and people who arent even american". Is it true? No. But politics for most people is about feeling and emotion. There is no logic talk that will change that. You have to meet simple people at their level; you cant force them to reach your level and understand all the nuance. They are not capable.

Its imperitive that the left stop falling back on this rhetoric, over the economic issues that the majority of voters care about. And dont say "well this policy and that policy and.." They dont understand any of that. They need to hear that they come first.

Things will change in smaller ways after the presidential election, when polititions have less to fear from aipac.

Longer term, as muslims from the region who live in the states have a more powerful voting block, the USs stance to Israel will also begin to change.

This is, and has always been, a generational paced thing.

This is why i have been moving away from google products for storing anything; emails, photos, etc. They are just not a customer focused company, bad to do business with them

Its mostly because all of the older apartment 20th ce try or older have wood floors that reverberate lime a drumhead. Newer buildings with concrete construction elminate noise. I dont hear my neighbors ever. Will never go back to an old building.

She (as in her campaign) even did that to progressives. Its was a very divisive election season. It was really hers to lose.

This is honestly a pretty ignorant take on america and its culture. A lot of our culture comes directly from the places people immigrated from, mixed with the culture that already existed. After a few generations it amalgamates into the broader culture. Its constantly evolving (whether people want it to or not). Its quite the opposite of only knowing culture fron our own country. In fact, a statement like that makes no sense when you factor in how peoole got here in the first place

Both honestly. Very spaghetti, but noone can deny that it just works from a user perspective. Would I want to maintain the code? Hell no! Do use it as an end user? Hell yeah!

A little empathy goes a long way. There are some truely shit evil people in the world, but most people are good people who werent given the same chances, lost their way, etc.
