I recall some people calling 1440p 2K and it really grinds my gears

Using a multipart downloader (like internet download manager) for archive.org downloads saturate my bandwidth (though its only 60ish mbps)

My samsung has the feature built in, but on that old phone I rooted and installed Advanced Charge Controller. (Not feasible for most people i know)

Not charging my old phone to 100%, rather to 85% or 90% has helped with battery longevity immensely. After almost 5 years in use, accubattery still shows 80% battery health, and even if that's not accurate, it still lasts quite a while. The SD625 that phone had was very sluggish though, so in the end I still replaced it

Most (recent) games have a way to reduce the render resolution, while keeping the UI at native resolution. And for those that don't, lowering the settings a bit should be enough with your gpu

PS2 and PS3 games are also abundant in Internet Archive. Using IDM (or you could use any multipart downloader you like), I can usually download from there at my max speed (which is only 65mbps but still).

The lack of high refresh rate displays on the 10 series always stood out to me, when most of its competitors have 90Hz at worst
