Edit: I was completely wrong. This has nothing to do with private mode. See reply here : https://thelemmy.club/comment/849236

FWIW, I only browse the web on iOS in private mode. And added Voyager as the PWA whilst in private mode. None of my voyager history shows up in my safari history as a result.
