Wasn't Chernobyl in Ukraine? Are they just okay with having a huge area just be uninhabitable for a few generations?

Computers are very dumb things that will do exactly what you tell them to. You accidently forgot that you told them to infinitely add +1 to a finite number? Boy it sure will

Here I thought this was a programming joke about programmers blaming the code/hardware for throwing random bugs that differ somehow from the very direct instructions they compiled.

I previously had a truck, but had to get rid of it once it started having some engine issues. I lived in the city, so I figured I could make do with a sedan.

Boy do I miss my truck. I never really realized how much I needed it in big-city,USA, but it sure is apparent now. Plenty of times I need to haul something for work, or sometimes pop a curb to set up some tabling stuff, or even just hauling my bike for hitting some trails. My next car is probably going to truck, hopefully something small that is fuel efficient and easy to park. I just don't want to give up having the convenience of a bed that can haul heavy, messy stuff, it's too convenient for me

Thank you for this. I'm signing off for today, I'm sure I'll find the results out eventually

Yeah I think they were a cool experience. They still exist in some cities too. I know in Texas, if you google "metroplex" drive in, you'll usually find one that is operational

I like /all too, just to be clear. But sometimes I'd like to browse the equivalent of /all, just without politics. Sometimes it's a little much and the feed could be 70%+ posts about the US election

Plus, some instances seem to have a certain "style" to them. I feel like it would be cool if there was some currated feeds that instances presented, that include content across multiple instances that fit that "style". Would just be an easier way to explore those niche communities. It would also kinda solve the issue with having fractured communities for the same topic across multiple instances

Honestly looks like it was the correct training response

Yeah. Or just personalized feeds that you could share. I'm sure some instances have a great list of communities that their subscribers follow, that isn't available on/Local. And going to /All isn't always a good time. If there was like a /All, but maybe with some extra filters, that users could just subscribe to, that would be awesome

If Kamala and trump both tie the electoral college, which it is looking like a possibility, a new president would be chosen by the new Congress on Jan 6th. Scary to think about
