We asked a designer to make a logo we could use for the Plasma 6 _CAMPAIGN_, not for Plasma 6 itself.
We asked for something that would remind people of the Plasma logo (a folded piece of paper with three dots), but that also looked like a 6. This what they came up with.
So no, not the new Plasma logo.
Sorry.
We will keep the campaign open so, even if you can't donate by the deadline, you can still get a chance to be mentioned in our acknowledgements later on in the Plasma 6 series.
