No. You call the police immediately, set up a cordon, and make absolutely sure nobody will be able to help, even if someone does have a friend or loved one to call.

I may also call 911, because that is the number to reach medics quickly, and id like them to already be on the way if i get caught trying to stop the shooter, but knowing it's also attached to police has deterred me in the past. Not in a school shooter situation, but when i needed a medic.
