It's just more convoluted.

Pellet feeders are not meant for high speed machines. Pellet feeders are for large format machines where the speed comes from the volume of filament they can extrude while printing.

There are downsides as well. High throughput pellet feeding hot ends are insanely expensive. But there are practical issues as well, retraction can be really tough to dial in.

They promised to hurt the right people. The kind of people who will vote for them don't follow up on voting records, they just watch pundits or read web news that reaffirms their point of view and feelings.

The reality is a small percent of the voting public actually vote in primaries and those who do, on the right especially, tend to be the most extreme variety.

Remember the house is in recess so they can campaign. Every attempt on Trump's life is like free ad time for the GOP. They won't even come back in session for for hurricane relief funding.

Combine that with the multiple exposure function of UV tools and calibration is dead simple. Way way way less complicated to get the best quality out of resin compared to FDM.

And a wash and cure is going to be money well spent. I've tried a bunch of cheaper alternatives and nothing compared to the simplicity and functionality of the wash and cure system. I also only use alcohol in mine because it's easy to put outside in disposable trays to evaporate and then when the leftover resin in the bottom cures it can just be thrown away.

Before the pandemic there were a few homeassistant/smart home YouTubers on the floor of CES every day putting videos out about the new devices they saw throughout the day. I haven't seen any of them doing that since the pandemic.

Anyone know of one that is still doing that or the best place to get summaries of new devices from CES with a smart home focus?
