lemmy.world and a few other instances are getting pretty bad with the anti-communist hysteria and rampant liberalism lately. It seems like liberals from Reddit end up at .world mostly. There's been a huge uptick in posts calling lemmy and hexbear users tankies, and stoking hate and division against leftist communities. It sucks, because up until a few months ago the fediverse was mostly chill about that kind of reddit-esque fearmongering against leftists.

I just read the comic Sapiens, which argues that the agricultural revolution has been a horrible deal for humanity on the whole. We traded in a relatively chill, egalitarian, communal and unconstrained existence, for one of endless toil, exploitation and subjugation by elite classes.
