But I don’t see how the pet benefits from the murder of another animal. There is no fundamental reason that prohibits a diet for pets that does not result in animal suffering. As long as nutritional components, taste, and texture fulfill the requirements, there is no reason to object to a vegan pet diet. But of course, not every vegan diet fulfills these conditions, and especially for cats, we are still learning how to best implement that kind of diet.

I would assume that “market share” is related to the relative number of units sold/number of active subscriptions/fraction of total sales in terms in revenue, or some similar metric. I run a variety of different distributions on servers (bare metal, VMs and containers) and desktop computers. Do they all count equally? Without giving it more thought, I wouldn’t even know how to determine the market share of Ubuntu in my own home in a sensible way.
With Windows, I can just count the number of active licenses. Oh wait, its zero.
With version 45, Gnome switches to ECMAScript modules (ESM). This standardizes javascript exports/imports, but it also means that every single extension will have to be adjusted to work with Gnome 45. I would not mind if Gnome 45 stayed in testing for a bit longer, so developers have time to adjust.

It would be nice to have better support for 464xlat clat on linux. Sure, there are implementations like clatd based on tayga (which, by the way, was last updated in 2011???) or jool (out-of-tree kernel module), but setting them up is rather cumbersome. On Android, I automatically get a v4-rmnet0 interface when I connect to an IPv6 only network (such as my mobile network), which provides a local IPv4 gateway for legacy applications and websites, that will automatically do nat64/clat. Die Daten sind leicht unterschiedlich. Von 2019 auf 2021 scheint es eine gewisse Trendumkehr zu geben, der Anteil an Rauchern steigt leicht von 20.4% auf 20.6% (wahrscheinlich nicht signifikant?), der Anteil an Nierauchern sinkt von 57.1% auf 56.5% (jeweils in der Altersklasse 12–25). In den weiteren Statistiken sieht es ähnlich aus.
