I don’t think any nation has the ability or the political will to entirely occupy the continental United States.

It won't and can't be a single nation's effort. But the entire global south (and Russia), I hope, will realize the necessity (frankly, I expect that the Yanks will act so deranged that there will be the necessity). No one nation has the ability, and the political will will develop in time (IMO) as the empire only continues its spiral to ever-new lows and derangement. Frankly I think- if the US cannot come to terms (which I suspect it won't, but hope it will) or even if, when it does collapse- it will literally be a matter of the survival of the entire human species, to occupy and de-Nazify/thoroughly root out the imperialist mentality within the US.
