Perhaps its your instance or client, but it is definitely in a thread. It is a direct response to a comment that says,
Hrm. I'm not piecing things together out of context, but maybe that's because I woke up from insomnia and I'm not fully rested. Thank you for providing info, nonetheless.
They're so eager to have us join their cause, yet when we asked them to take a single day out of their lives to defend the basic human rights of minorities in the US, they said "Too much trouble."
You seem to be confusing protest voters and non-voters
