How much would it suck to be a real artist who has so little to express that people mistake you for AI?
I assume he wasn't selling much so he painted the visual hagiography of Trump to build his brand to get some of that sweet, sweet "own the libs!" money from rich chuds.
I live in an touristy Southwestern American city renown for its art. Pffft. As you can imagine - the art is usually soulless and ranges in visual appeal all the way from bland to bad. Most of the time it has a Southwestern vibe because - of course - that's what sells.
That is typical. It's 36" x 36" and it costs five grand.
The bison itself is interesting and obviously drawing from Cubism. Pallette knife painting can be pretty challenging to do. Where it loses me is everything else. It needed to go all-in on the Cubism and knife work, including the background. The brushstrokes really distract from the work done on the bison and makes the painting look unfinished.
