James Connolly (1868-1916) was a revolutionary socialist fighting for Irish national liberation; the founder of the Irish Socialist Republican Party and the Irish Citizen Army. Today 109 years ago, he was executed by British colonizers after the Easter Rising in Dublin.^(PW)^

There seems to be an increased reporting on Burkina Faso across Western media and that means we have another coup coming up soon of course

I read somewhere that while Traoré was in Russia there was a significant assault by terrorists. (feels weird to use that word legitimately instead of ironically) I think it's kinda funny because the west really wants to give them the Libya treatment but they know they couldn't get away with it these days.

Why does that indicate that a coup is coming ? Isn't it better for a coup against such a popular figure to happen without western audiences hearing about it ? Granted, I haven't thought a lot about general color revolution strategy, but what's the playbook ?
