Title. I totaled my car by rear ending another. Luckily nobody was hurt at all, I steered off when I understood I won't be able to stop so it was mostly side-to-side contact, caught between a highway barrier and the other car. It happened 7 hours ago and I am still shaken. It was clearly my fault.

I am privileged to have savings so I am able to cover my expenses for a new car (I need one due to my living situation), but it still sucks a lot.

I just wanted to get this off my chest.

I am just happy that nobody got hurt. Drive safe everybody, and fuck cars

Yeah, your stopping distance is longer when you gotta pull some person's hair to get them to hit the brakes.

Jokes aside, glad everyone is ok.
