For one, just California is over 5 times the size of Austria. Also we know that story never happened, though.

Not so sure about “leaves five feet thick”….. well, I guess I am and it’s one of the more ridiculous things he’s said, which is a high bar. I certainly have not seen five foot deep piles of leaves in California or anywhere… apparently he’s back to the “raking” thing. Of course Trump is a total expert on forest fire prevention.

Dude. He recommended mainlining bleach and shoving a UV cathode up one’s ass.

It’s sadly far from the dumbest or craziest thing he’s said.

It’s a statement of supposed fact that is very obviously not true and absurd, but sure - if I had to vote for the worst, it would be the ones that glorify violence or are about punishing his opponents. Saying the violent mob who invaded the capital and wanted to kill Congress members and the vice president were “full of love”, or discussing how his crowd should attack counter protestors, insisting H. Clinton should be in “jail”, or recently, suggesting that a US general be executed for communicating with a general in China. Also his number outs degrading statements about women are up there.

I may have been more dramatic about it, but, no, he did in fact suggest these things.

The disinfectant in question of the study was bleach, and the reason sunlight destroyed the virus is the amount of UV light in sunlight.

Oh, I remember when he said it. The statement of supposed fact I referred to mean the 5-foot layer of leaves, not the insane bleach "injection inside" and UV light "through the skin or... in some other way". Like some other things he says, that has some basis in fact, but he's way too dense and ignorant to really understand it, but chooses to talk in front of gigantic international audiences as if he knows what he's talking about. There's also an older therapy where they expose blood to UV to disinfect it, called ultraviolet blood irradiation. Definitely not with a lightbulb up your ass though.

Gotcha. I remember having a conversation with a trumper at the time trump suggested it. "I'm not shoving a lightbulb up my ass unless it vibrates" got him to finally shut up about trump around me. Apparently, he now thinks I'm gay, and I'm okay with that.
