Breadtube if it didn't suck.
Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.
Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.
There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.
A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

I don't want people to stop protesting, but I also don't necessarily want comrades arrested for this.
If it felt like there was a snowball's chance, then I'm all for putting yourself on the line to extract concessions. Currently it feels like almost the entire US political machine is riding on the "kill a ton of people trolley" and barely registering what all the bumps are. They couldn't care less and will not change based on what we do so catching a charge for this doesn't seem worth the non-existent squeeze.
I understand Palestinians feel supported by protest actions and reiterate my support for those, I'm only pointing out where it might be right to draw the line.
Very open to changing my mind on this though, I want to believe we can actually have an impact and not just show solidarity
That was my sentiments exactly. I wish they could have stayed and made a difference, but I don’t think them staying would, and messing with the secret service probably would have brought heavy charges.
