Yeah, I don’t understand why people find it necessary to drop into an enthusiast’s community to voice their ambivalence or dislike of something.

I still don't get it... Then people can show their love for the game and engage in the discussion.

It's not like the comment comes across as trolling or anything... You don't need to upvote it, but downvoting is unnecessarily hostile to someone who could be a fan too.

I just meant that people here are probably fans of the game and that's why they might be hostile to negative stuff

That's fair. Hell, I've never played the game and here I am commenting so maybe it deserved downvotes for all I know.

Of course, seeing a seemingly neutral if maybe slightly negative but otherwise polite and engaging comment get downvoted doesn't exactly give the best impression of the game or its community to potential newcomers... I suppose it's just the internet doing its usual thing of injecting a little bit of toxicity for no good reason.
