Do they need to respond at this point? They kinda proved whatever they needed to with the first one. Israel now knows for sure that it would be in trouble if it insisted on taking things further than this show of saving face. Hopefully Iran is willing to accept that it's made it's point and decides not to retaliate to the retaliation against it's retaliation for Israel's consular attack.
