A certain overly sensitive instance deleted my meme so I've blocked it completely. Will it also block their community from interacting with me on other instances? (lemmy.world)

I mean, I remember way back when, some people called suped up cars "rice burners." I've certainly never heard it applied to a computer. But meh, I can see your points. Still blocking them because I don't know how many times I need to read that China good US bad, so it's a win in the end.

I'll take this as a learning moment.

I have not been a part of the Linux community for very long but I've heard it a few times already, and since people usually don't just pick random words as a post title, our brains start to look for any kind of connection a poster might have meant. Maybe an ootion for you would be to use very generic titles? Like "meme" or "image" maybe. I think this was mostly a really unfortunate coincidence, but I get that you'd rather just have a less political feed anyways.
