I have any number of opinions that are heterodox to MLs and Hexbear generally, and have strong critiques of AES. And I've had a few struggle sessions but never been "censored".

Literally the only thing we ask is that you're not a massive chud or terf, and that however critical you treat AES as trying to implement Socialism in good faith. It's not so hard.

Eh, I'll kinda disagree here, even if you don't straight up catch a ban this community will pretty brutally go after your ass for certain takes. And I've seen a couple of examples of mods banning people who didn't technically break any rules but they were just being to much of a "Lib" for everyone's taste so they took "executive action" or whatever you wanna call it.

Thing is, I think it's fine. freeze-peach isn't a value of this community, we believe communities have a right to enforce certain norms in regards to expression, so yeah we boot people who violate them too blatantly and/or often. It's a thing everyone believes and does but certain people wanna pretend they believe in some sort of higher concept of freedom of expression that has never and cannot exist in any functional society shrug-outta-hecks
