If the Dems were smart, they'd make a big show of doing this. RFK is way more popular with conservative independents than liberal ones.

Raise RFKs visibility and signal that he's "important" enough to warrant this level of protection and maybe he gets more coverage and splits the vote. Only like 4% or something support RFK, but that's still a significant voting block in a close election

The only RFK supporters I've met are crunchy wine mom types who heard he's against "chemicals" or some shit and don't seem to be that worried about the antivax stuff, or low key believe it themselves

And the polling doesn't seem to bear it out either, its a slight lean if anything:

Oh no - that's different than the polling I'd seen. I think the stuff I saw was before the whole brain worms thing, so maybe it's more of a mixed bag now.
