Ok so this is great, but where does the whole JD being a couch fucker thing come from? Is there some sort of evidence he did this or is it just some shit someone made up thats kind of funny?

Made up thing as a little joke -> fact checkers did not realize it was a joke -> AP writes article saying "No, JD Vance did not have sex with a couch" -> people spread funny article -> people start widely talking about it

(Also didn't help that the AP ended up taking down their fact checking article because it bypassed their typical editing process, and people just saw that the article was taken down. Leading to even more spread of it)

Despite having read about the JD Vance dolphin stuff, some part of me instinctually does not trust that link with the text around it lol

(The link itself is fine, to be clear)

"No, JD Vance did not have sex with a couch"

Did they provide any evidence? Or are we just supposed to take James David at his lack of word?

The headline should have read that he didn't write about it in his book. It's likely another reason why the AP News article was taken down because technically you can't prove he never did

One thing is currently very true - a lot of important people are asking questions about Vance and his couch. And the AP pulled down an article denying his sectional intercourse.
