I may have joined like 3 days ago buti feel like this is something i need to know Also There are people who are attacking instances here? Why?
I also don’t understand why you would attack these instances. It makes no sense to me..
According to another user, it is just some people coming from instances that lemmy.world defederated.
Likely script kiddies from big instances from which lemmy.world defederated (recently the attacks correlate with the defederation from Hexbears announcement).
Can't people get over that really? I am actually asking as i don't know. I didn't like the fact that reddit became basically unusable because their app was trash and they destroyed 3rd party apps but i got over it, though noone is the same so i guess the answer is no.
I think the attacks have calmed down a bit now.
I'll take your word for it as i haven't been on here for enough time judge.
