Someone feels called out?

Some people like to be victim, some like drama and some are Mimosa on behalf of others. Augenmass is needed in such cases, instead of joining the drama.

Augenmass? Keeping distance or something?

Crap, it's only used in swiss and austria?

Ability to be prudent in certain situations.

Well, as they say, "common sense is not very common", but thinking a bit before rushing in may always do good.

::: spoiler about the "quote" It actually should read

It is sometimes said, common sense is very rare

as written by Voltaire, it appears, but I didn't know that and only met derivatives of this quote.

It's not, but then I'm Bavarian. What do I know about the rest of Germany?

[-] Soup@lemmy.world -2 points 1 week ago

No?

Yes, sometimes it’s better to just leave the shitty person to be shitty but not calling people out also validates their shitty opinions. I’m glad you’re in a place of privilege to just ignore it but maybe practice your own fuckin’ augenmaß and butt out if you don’t have anything constructive to say.

You're a bad example of what i said.
