String cheese isn’t real cheese 🧐
It ain’t string either
But that won't stop me from crocheting a bag out of it
What place doesn’t use real mozzarella in their string cheese?
You can try that argument with kraft singles or Velveeta, but not with string cheese.
Also, kraft singles and Velveeta are actually kinda real cheese, iirc the reason why they aren't allowed to be sold as such because they contain a significant amount of added fats, oils, and other things to make them softer and more gooey. However, they still contain a significant amount of cheese.
Me too Velveeta, me too
Yeah American cheese is typically real cheese, extra milk, and an emulsifier to keep the milk and cheese cohesive. Cheaper stuff can play it a bit more fast and loose but even singles the first ingredient is cheddar
They're basically solidified cheese bechamel.
I would also like to add that anyone who dismisses all American cheese outright due to trash like Kraft Singles and Velveeta are missing out on some of the best sandwich cheese you can get.
Cooper Sharp? Come on.
