It is a few matchdays into the Premier League and Liverpool have a small lead at the top so I have become a Liverpool fan again. Feels good to watch games on the weekend. Not looking forward to when they crash and burn at some point and I lose interest.
Everything a fan doen inside and outside the stadium has a direct impact on the game so keep on cheering
The problem is I don't think they deserve my support. The only thing I got out of supporting a team based in England while I am in India is that I felt a sense of camaraderie with fellow supporters. Earlier it was through an obscure Malaysian forum that was shut down, then through the subreddit but everything is astroturfed to hell now. If I was around more people that were into football maybe I would be more into it but tempering my interest seems good for now.
