The only time I spoke to a computer was when my phone's keyboard stopped working.

Hey kid, I’m a computer. Stop all the downloading.

Gah I hate talking to computers. Whatever the future holds I’m typing my commands till I die.

It feels so degrading. I don't ask my tools for favors. I only want to use my voice for yelling at them when they don't work.

"Hammer! Fucking hammers have one purpose, to fucking hammer things! Right now, Hammer, you're screwing me like ol Mr. Philips Screwdriver."

I adore this, absolutely embroidered patch worthy!

Yah I want this on my shirt

[–] RubberElectrons@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yeah, was just coming to comment the same. Would look cool on my moto jacket.

I don't know how to make embroidered patches, surrealists.

Not saying this is the service to use, but looks like the process would go something like this?

https://www.patches4less.com/designing-custom-patches

E: lol there's so much trouble we could get into with these ideas, e.g. badges for various battalions in the resistance, futuristic police-like works for the MATA assholes, etc etc.

[–] pmjv@lemmy.sdf.org 13 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Well well well well... interesting! Thank you.

If you get them up for sale let me know. And if you decide patches are too much work I'd love it if I could get your permission to make myself one for personal use only on my vest.

Saving this. When we form the resistance against AI machines this will probably be the flag. Someone ship a few to Sarah Connor too.

Once.

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 8 points 3 days ago

Apple IIe - not even once.

I am not nerdy enough to appreciate the esoteric reference that is being made, I think this art is really awesome, though!

Split the difference - VIC-64

(Think of it as a proto-C128)

Edit: also, that's a Commodore monitor with the weird inputs ... though I thought they were all grey. I need to get a life ...

Came here to say this :)
