I've never tried it with seaweed, or anything else savory. I like it with fruit, but I don't like the "fruit flavoured" oatmeal, it tastes like the oatmeal at some point in the past was in the same room as a piece of fruit, but that's about it. I know oatmeal is supposed to have a mild taste, but what's the point of flavoured oatmeal if I need to add sugar and cinnamon and fruit and stuff to it anyway?

I like molasses, cinnamon, and raisins in mine. I also love to make my own granola with nuts and other dried fruits. It lasts for months on a jar and smells absolutely delicious when i make it
