Now I'm imagining this universe's version of the SNW musical episode: Klingon bluegrass boy band?

Truck nuts on the nacelles?

I think the truck nuts go below the rear shuttle bay. Mudflaps go on the nacelles.

Opening theme replaced with The Eagle's "Journey Of The Sorcerer," confusing some British sci-fi fans.

The Klingons do an admirable version of Iron Horse's Pickin' On Modest Mouse.

I remember Andromeda, and I’m going to make it everybody else’s problem.

[–] JoeyJoJoJuniour@lemmy.ml 5 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I loved Andromeda, I can't rewat it thought because it's either awful, and I've ruined the memory or it's good and I can't watch a show with Kevin Sorbo anymore

[–] setsneedtofeed@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Interesting universe and premise. It’s got noticeably lower production value than comparable Trek, but it’s decent for the first season and a half.

Robert Hewitt Wolfe, a writer who had worked on Deep Space 9 was the producer for the first season and a half. In the middle of the second season Sorbo and the network teamed up to push him out, and retooled the show to be much dumber and more actiony. It takes an immediate and embarrassing nosedive after that.

If you watch it, a good time to stop is when Trance Gemini turns from purple to gold colored.

I'll keep that in mind. I love the premise and any sort of rebuilding an empire type thing.

Alright kids ... in today's episode Voyager has a little oopsy daisy in the transporter room and combines two people into one new friend named Tuvix ... let's see what the Captain will do

and that was the day the kids learned about crimes against sentience.

What happens to the conscious self when the Enterprise D separates the drive section from the saucer section?

[–] NakariLexfortaine@lemm.ee 8 points 2 years ago

Babies First Existential Crisis.

[–] MajorHavoc@lemmy.world 8 points 2 years ago

Good question. I imagine the saucer section retains all the nurturing family camper persona, while the naccelle section revels in having all the warp power, and occasionally reminds everyone that it thinks mainly with it's battle bridge.

It's like when zombies or Frankenstein's monster pops their heads off for laughs.
