This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

Great read!

Degrowth never made sense to me. Why hamstring the productive force of society precisely when we're able to liberate it from the shackles of class struggle, allowing it to reach its full potential? Degrowth will lead to collapse, not redemption.

Basically another example of why anarchism is a roach motel for leftists.

The problem is transitioning to other energy sources before fossil fuels run out. A planned economy that prioritizes human well-being would certainly be better at achieving this than the spooky, invisible hand of the market. It's an interesting article.

They cannot grasp the post-scarcity mindset and that is pitiful. We have the technical means today to live in a mostly nuclear-powered world supplemented by sources such as solar and wind.

Recently I talked to a nuclear physicists, and he would agree with you. Morever, we have such a possiblility from 60s, but the world turned into irrational, neoliberal politics, sadly

The only points of degrowth which make sense to me is to eliminate stupid whims of billionaires like private jets and yachts longer than 30 m. I also fucking hate SUVs and pickup trucks.
