Do they still have many highly intelligent and over qualified people working on it to make wacky science plots/theories/jokes ? How good is the show nowadys anyway ? Does it still hold that standard ? Been a hot minute since i last watched also i am talking about hulu reboot to avoid future confusion as one person asked me in the comments .

It’s ok but not great.

It’s a comfy old pair of pants, but you can tell where they added some patches.

The Hulu season has plenty of patches! It has more patches than a quilt!

She's loaded with meat! She's got more meat than a cow!

I thought it was, by far, the worst season of Futurama. As @CorrodedCranium@leminal.space mentioned it seemed like they were trying to make up for lost time with a bunch of forced, topical jokes.

It was still a decent show, but I didn't think it was nearly as good as it has been.

Its good, I enjoyed it. But it wasn’t as good as their best. The writing was a little . . . expected. Great Simpsons and Futurama writing has that magic zowie bang to it, and there wasn’t as much in this one. It wasn’t bad though, I liked all the episodes.

“I’m issuing a Presidential Arooo” was up there, though.

I enjoyed it. It is not as good as the previous seasons and you can tell the voice actors are understandably out of practice of those particular voices in the first few episodes. Around Ep 4 the voices get back to normal.

The season has its good and bad episodes as every season does.

I found it disappointing. I only watched the first 3 and gave up.

Same. It feels like they're trying to make up for the past couple years and it leads to things feeling a bit forced and dated as far as I'm concerned

I remember watching the Bitcoin episode, couldn't tell you a single thing about it though...

The season numbers are always confusing. Do you mean the Comedy Central reboot (starting with Rebirth), or the Hulu one (The Impossible Steram)?

I thought the CC reboot was solid and had some great episodes. As for the Hulu one, I watched the first two and gave up on it.

I meant the hulu one and yes season numbers are very confusing.

It went too topical if that makes sense? You'll love the finale if you're into high concept science ideas, I also though Zapp get Cancelled was good (despite the name)

It was boring for me. I watched them once, but I don’t plan on watching them again in the future.

Anything past the Fox years isn't worth it in my opinion.
