Seriously, just a quiet quad copter with a fairly sensitive microphone can hear these things from miles away.

Turbine engines in tracked vehicles have a very distinctive sound.

How long before Iran is sending missiles toward Israel that are equipped with anti-anti-missile missiles? Then it's an anti-missile arms race all the way down.

You mean like a false target? Pretty sure ICBMs at least have those already, specifically to ensure payload is not intercepted
