I need a shirt that says "I avoided the Noid... so far."
Ironically, "the 'Noid" and the whole campaign to avoid him (ie. 30 mins or less guarantee) cost the pizza delivery industry billions. Almost like the actual lesson should've been "didn't be a whiny bitch about your hot cheese cracker taking a reasonable amount of time to arrive", etc. 🤷🏼♂️
All I want them to do is tell me about how long it will take before I commit to ordering. If my pizza will take 20 minutes, say 20 minutes. If my pizza will take 50 minutes, say 50 minutes. I respect them being busy or understaffed if they're honest about it.
The Domino's I used to order from would regularly arrive well before the projected time.
Edit: Since there is confusion over what I said, this is me agreeing that there doesn't need to be a 30-minute guarantee. Or any time-based guarantee - just a realistic estimate.
