In response to the lawsuit, American said in a court document that it would dispute the family’s claim by showing that any injuries the 9-year-old girl suffered were caused by the girl’s “own fault and negligence, were proximately caused by (her) use of the compromised lavatory, which she knew or should have known contained a visible and illuminated recording device.”

After he left, the teen entered the bathroom and saw red stickers on the underside of the toilet seat lid, which was in the open position, officials said. Beneath the stickers, Thompson had concealed his iPhone to record a video, investigators said. The girl used her phone to take a picture of the stickers and concealed iPhone before leaving.

So American airlines is thinking about the 14 year old who busted they're guy and going "Thats not fair, how did she notice when you couldn't?" Without realizing how demonic essentially saying "skill issue" to a child exploited in such a way looks.

Also op should probably cw this.

I had previously read that a good response to being asked which presidential candidate you're voting for is

"I'm not a pedophile"

I had never expected that now it also works when people ask you which airline you prefer.

My "I'm not a pedophile" shirt is prompting a lot of questions already answered by my shirt.

Welp... looks like there's a volunteer for testing Boeing airplanes.

I'm not gonna crawl for a different article that mentions it but the photo is apparently deceiving because the 14 year old said the flash wasn't on when they sat down.
