That sounds like a threat.

Yet Republicans are perpetually surprised about how armed liberals are in any state.

We just don't gobble each others dicks about it while fantasizing about killing people we don't like lol.

Good luck with your little man syndrome war Palin. I'm sure it'll go about as well as your insurrection.

[–] GreenMario@lemm.ee 14 points 1 year ago

They were so pissed when that one Drag story time had armed leftists standing guard a few months back. W-w-why are they armed? 😂

[–] southsamurai@sh.itjust.works 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yeah, everyone underestimates how many left leaning to far left people there are that are not only armed, but quite willing to defend each other as well as themselves.

[–] gentleman@kbin.social 7 points 1 year ago

@southsamurai the liberalgunowners magazine on Kbin has unfortunately not been very active but there are indeed a shit ton of us out there and not fucking happy about being threatened

For all the cries about it being political persecution, I haven't seen anyone prove any of the evidence being used against him is false. Courts don't take up cases without merit. The actual abuse going on is a minority of politicians trying to suppress the will of the American people.

These crybabies won't do anything to start a civil war. They're spread too far apart, they don't have enough of their own resources, and if somehow they were able to break off some piece of the country, who is going to be trade or political partners with a cesspool that is still surrounded by a super power and it's friendly neighbors? This isn't the 1770s or the 1860s. They have no powerful support abroad. This isn't a group of people with plans. Just a bunch of scammers pulling a long con on rubes.

Ignore them. Let them eat themselves. Let them keep telling us who they really are. From watching the debates, half of them seem tired of this BS themselves.

For all the cries about it being political persecution, I haven’t seen anyone prove any of the evidence being used against him is false.

The whole reason "persecution" is the main talking point is exactly because there is no legitimate defense. There's not even an illegitimate defense that they can float to the base, so the only thing left is "witch hunt".

[–] anon6789@beehaw.org 6 points 1 year ago

Agreed. If there's evidence you did something, there's only yourself to blame. I don't care if it's Trump, Hunter, the Sacklers, whoever. Own up to what you did. And if you're ok with someone hurting people or try to cover it up, you aren't really any better

[–] Zima@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

I'm not on his side. but selective application of the law is still abusive. just looking at the veracity of the evidence to assess fairness is disingenuous.

[–] Unaware7013@kbin.social 26 points 1 year ago

It's amazing how much the party of criminals is circling the wagons around the most criminal president in US history.

[–] yunggwailo@kbin.social 25 points 1 year ago

Fuck around and find out traitorous fucks

[–] flipht@kbin.social 22 points 1 year ago

Really? Because the leaders just surrendered in Atlanta. Again.

[–] Cylusthevirus@kbin.social 12 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children)

I could see the US breaking up along political lines, but that's going to go a lot worse for most Red states than they think it is. It's still pretty unlikely.

What's likely going to happen is just more bitching and moaning and gerrymandering.

[–] PseudoSpock@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Let it break up. Once the reds separate, it won't be US territory, and we can bomb them out of existence and re-take the land without those traitorous bastages.

[–] Davel23@kbin.social 10 points 1 year ago (3 children)

We won't have to. Nearly all, if not fully all "red states" receive more in federal funding than they pay in taxes. If they were to secede their econonomies would crash in short order. It would be like Brexit times 10.

[–] TimeSquirrel@kbin.social 8 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

That's why it will never happen. Their politicians know this full well. They aren't that stupid. Them saying otherwise is for their base to eat up.

[–] keeb420@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago

they aren't that stupid.

This is the party of trump mtg beobert and Palin after all I wouldn't bet on that.

[–] WHYAREWEALLCAPS@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Texas barely makes enough to keep from being a Republican welfare state. It's the only one to do so, IIRC.

[–] bizzle@midwest.social 1 points 1 year ago

Texas can't keep their own lights on, they'd be begging to rejoin the union after their first winter. At least, the survivors would be.

[–] PseudoSpock@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 year ago

As long as they eat one another, I'm okay with this.

[–] BraveSirZaphod@kbin.social 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And any Democrats in Alabama, which is about a third of the population, I suppose you consider to just be collateral damage whose deaths are just a necessary cost?

[–] PseudoSpock@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)
[–] bizzle@midwest.social 2 points 1 year ago

Uprooting your whole life and everything you've ever known can be really difficult, complicated, and expensive.

[–] BaroqueInMind@kbin.social 8 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children)

Not trying to defend piece of shit conservatives, but you underestimate the amount of US military firepower that red states have locked up in their armories (because land is cheaper for the Federal Gov to pay to shitty flyover red state governments for storage).

You also underestimate the level of firepower hick-jock rednecks maintain in their own personal supply in said red states.

Your proposal sounds stupid and encourages people to think we are each other's enemies here in this online forum, when the reality is its simple ignorance and inflammatory politics that needs to be fought against.

Lock that fat orange piece of shit up, give people their bodily autonomy and freedom of choice, keep religion far away from politics, let people own guns without limits to protect minority communities from racist/sexist/genderist cops, and execute the politicians who encourage violence or partisanship with no mercy.

[–] Jaysyn@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

That doesn't matter when more than 2/3rds of the US Military dislike Trump ( higher among officers & and that was when he was in power, that number has plummeted since.)

I'll never forget why Stars & Stripes was shuttered.

You think a Bird from Wisconsin is going to turn a military base over to southern traitors? Hell no they aren't. The Insurrection Act will be set off & they are going to start collecting fash politicians & putting down insurrectionists.

[–] PseudoSpock@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 year ago

Totally disagree. There is a minority, but not insubstantial, amount of white supremacists / christo-fascist that we need to eradicate, in addition to cleaning up our politicians and judges. Disagree with you over guns, do agree cops need to be re-designed from the ground up to be a help to the citizenry and not a problem.

[–] freeman@lemmy.pub 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Honestly that won’t happen. But even if it did. Most of the US agriculture comes from red states.

The cost of food will skyrocket with tariffs.

[–] Cylusthevirus@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Actually California makes over 11% of US ag output and rather a lot of that gets exported.

[–] SpunkyBarnes@geddit.social 12 points 1 year ago

Why does anyone waste a column inch on anything that witch says?

[–] Davel23@kbin.social 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

We're not going to keep putting up with... what? Upholding the country's laws?

[–] anon6789@beehaw.org 3 points 1 year ago

To be fair, that policy has worked for numerous people through history! 😓

Doesn't have to this time though!

[–] xc2215x@kbin.social 7 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Sarah Palin wants it to happen.

[–] PseudoSpock@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 year ago

I want them to do it, so we have a legal reason to wipe them out.

[–] snooggums@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

She should be on the front lines of that revolution, like that lady on Jan 6th.

[–] Wookie@artemis.camp 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Ashley Babbit? At least she died doing what she loved

[–] TubeTalkerX@kbin.social 4 points 1 year ago

Betraying her Country?

[–] Jaysyn@kbin.social 7 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

"If you have the facts on your side, pound the facts. If you have the law on your side, pound the law. If you have neither on your side, pound the table."

I do not give a shit what the traitorous quitter says. She needs to shut the fuck up & mind her own shitty family circus.

[–] kool_newt@lemm.ee 7 points 1 year ago

She's jealous that margarine and bobo are outstupiding her.

[–] gzrrt@kbin.social 7 points 1 year ago

Please just realize any article about Sarah Palin is basically clickbait. She has nothing of substance to offer, and no one is more informed after hearing her hot takes

[–] JelloBrains@kbin.social 4 points 1 year ago

Sure it will, I was also told his supporters would swarm the courthouse in Atlanta if he was charged there, and yesterday it looked like 20-30 people bothered to show up.

[–] Yewb@kbin.social 4 points 1 year ago

Irrelevant lady says something to try to be relevant again, this should be considered a viable threat as she is signaling

[–] Lettuceeatlettuce@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 year ago

Nice to know the nut is still as nutty as ever.

[–] CeruleanRuin@lemmings.world 3 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Lol, when was the last time anybody gave two moose shits what Sarah Palin had to say? This isn't news.

[–] SomeGuyNamedPaul@beehaw.org 1 points 1 year ago

Just a reminder that she named her son "Trig" who has "Trisomy G"' which is the modern term for Down's Syndrome.
