French newspaper "Liberation" reports on meetings between President Emmanuel Macron's government members, including the ministers themselves, and leaders of the far-right National Rally party. A possible alliance was reportedly discussed.

Bear in mind, Macron was first elected on the promise he would "normalize" French politics and squeeze the far right out.

I don't see why you're so worried, President Macron will keep a tight leash on Chancellor Le Pen and the realities of governing will mellow out her radical tendencies.
