DOGE is about to eliminate the SEC

Tesla has been massively overvalued now for almost a decade, a stock deal for a real car company has always been a no-brainer. Not sure what would make Elon suddenly become intelligent enough to realize that fact.

i-voted

For Jill Stein. I would have voted PSL but they were not on the ballot in my state. It was either that or staying home, which is what I normally do and advocate.

Ultimately it was all the negative ad spend in Michigan that swayed me, along with Green's clear stance on the Gaza issue. Knowing that I could use my voice to drive up the vote total for Jill Stein, in the event that Trump wins, I will get to relish the malding over third party voters that much more knowing that I was an active contributor. I only wish I had gotten some bumper stickers.

I know that you can't tear down the masters house etc etc but I am putting this post up in hopes that it makes somebody mad, and to inspire others to do the same.

Many folks were trying to divine a motive behind the recent chatter around Dear Leader bringing Juche to the oppressed workers of Ukraine

So let's hypothesize

Seems like it could be a ploy to start shifting some weapon supply burden onto ROK and who knows maybe even Japan. Further evidence Ukraine is becoming unsustainable

What's your theory

AI Slop is good (hexbear.net)

After listening to the latest chapo ep I am fully supportive of AI Slop.

AI Slop:

  • destroys social media
  • delegitimizes the scam driven tech industry
  • generates interesting things to stimulate conversation, like shrimp Jesus or the homer Simpson concert videos
  • transfers wealth from big social media companies and their shareholders to the global south in the form of direct subsidies
  • eventually will lead to the renaissance of smaller spaces online as platforms that get too big will be targeted by monetization schemes

All uncritical support to the machine. People decry the death of the Internet, but this is actually a good thing. The good parts of the Internet should survive unscathed since there is no money to be made here.

Thank you for coming to my presentation.

This is just like when killing bin laden caused the taliban to collapse and the US won the war in Afghanistan

Harris campaign officials believe that talking about the current landscape of abortion restrictions in the United States is a winning strategy with female voters, particularly liberal and liberal-leaning ones. But Mr. Baier did not bring up the issue, and the vice president did not guide him there.

Instead, both of them stayed focused on immigration and border security — a topic that, according to recent polls, is near the top of the list of concerns among female voters.

At several points, Mr. Baier asked the vice president if the families of women killed by undocumented immigrants were owed apologies from Ms. Harris and the Biden administration. He read off their names from a list, one by one, and played a clip from the mother of one of the victims, who blamed the administration’s border policies for the loss of her daughter.

Dog shit political instincts. This is the same person who had to exit the primaries first in 2020. Can't win an election to save her life.

It will be amazing if the Dems lose again, the fact that this is even in the cards is frankly fucking insane

From the comments on the timely and predictable article preemptively blaming black voters for the Democrats losing in the NYT
