lmao even the wii guy looks like the canister

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 55 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Is that a healthy weight for a gas canister? πŸ€”

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev 17 points 3 months ago

That's beyond obese, no way that's healthy. Gotta burn that weight one way or another!

[–] Sparky@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

idk the BMI is kinda high.

[–] Threeme2189@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago

The PSI looks a bit high as well

Early 2000s problems require early 2000s solutions.

[–] bruhduh@lemmy.world 30 points 3 months ago

Yeah, i said canister had a good posture, how did Wii know?

[–] ChaoticNeutralCzech@feddit.org 24 points 3 months ago (1 children)

By the way, I recently heard someone commenting that your posture looked good.

Seeing this on the screen would absolutely freak my 8yo autistic ass out. There are other entities that the Wii Trainer talks to? And they find it normal to casually comment on people's posture?

This is why I don't play Nintendo games I guess; the small talk in Animal Crossing would just leave me scarred.

least autistic Lemmy user (I'm just as autistic, we all are)

[–] Anarki_@lemmy.blahaj.zone 23 points 3 months ago

[–] Steamymoomilk@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 months ago

That gas can is the apex of fitness

[–] Hackerman@discuss.tchncs.de 10 points 3 months ago

Ain't stupid if it works!

[–] ModerateImprovement@sh.itjust.works 8 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Why would anyone weight their gas canister?

[–] SparrowRanjitScaur@lemmy.world 17 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Probably to see how much fuel is left in it

[–] gnu@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

Boiling the jug and pouring a bit of hot water on the cylinder seems like it'd be less work than digging out the Wii fit gear, unless of course they use it more regularly rather than just for weighing gas bottles.

[–] TinyShonk@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago (2 children)

How does that tell how much fuel is left?

[–] gnu@lemmy.zip 6 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

You pour a bit of boiling water down the side of the cylinder then run your hand down where you poured the water - you will feel a clear delineation in the temperature of the cylinder at the level of the liquid gas inside.

[–] homesnatch@lemm.ee 3 points 3 months ago

The method described reveals the level of liquid within the container. There is a distinct difference above and below.

Did this many times to weigh suitcases before a flight
