The Grand Theft Auto III fan port for the Sega Dreamcast, developed by SKMP, is currently in development. DreamSDK3 and KalistiOS are being used to create the port, utilizing assets from the PC version.

More Dreamcast goodies.

A reminder that the official Dreamcast version of GTA2 runs so much smoother and looks so much nicer than it does on any other system, including PC.

What if you have a 3dfx Voodoo? I remember that game supported Glide rendering. I guess you could emulate Glide, or emulate the Dreamcast version

...can...can I emulate the Dreamcast version on PC...?

Once it's done, I suppose so, much like how the Dreamcast version of Soul Reaver is the "definitive" one

That is how it’s being developed

I can just hear the disc drive grinding now as it loads in the assets while driving around the city. 😁 To be fair, the DC was a cool system. The Half Life port was very impressive, it's just a shame the levels were broken into smaller chunks to fit into the system and the load times between them was quite a wait.
