Makes sense, right-wing media have been lying and calling him weak on the border since before he came into office. It's the same as when they call him a communist, which is so obviously false it's almost a joke. They can say whatever they want because nobody listening to them is going to do any fact-checking.
This is why if Joe Brandon and KKKamala HariSS were serious about "saving democracy" they'd drone strike everyone related to Fox, OAN, Joe Rogan, Tim Pool, etc immediately.

I'm inclined to believe anything Cato says is a lie, but I also don't have the capacity to verify their sources.
So I wouldn’t even wipe my own ass with the Congressional report, the first source linked in the article, but it goes on to cite official data from DHS, published in 2022—and while I don’t blame you for being skeptical of these pieces of fuck, I look at the context and ask myself “Why would they lie?”

I would think that the Cato institute would have an incentive to say the opposite of this which makes me inclined to believe them here
