I liked UlyssesT but he could be a bit grating and also his criticisms of my favorite media slid off me like water off a duck's back, I don't care that Cyberpunk doesn't let me start a revolution among a nearly enslaved populace for whom class consciousness is basically illegal given how they treat homeless sewer-dwellers and people trying to organize a strike, I can deflect bullets with a katana and shoot people through 18 inches of concrete with a handheld railgun

UlyssesT kinda reminds me of the badempanada fellow that got dragged through the coals here (though i dont think hes ever had the level of absolutely dogshit takes that BE has)

very entertaining and cathartic to watch him go after someone who deserves it but like dont ever have a disagreement with him which i guess is why both of them had fans here

after reading this thread and his final post i have developed a shitty headcanon right,

what if UlyssesT was some married guy "working" a higher 6 figure bullshit office job in silicon valley, one of those special bullshit jobs where he could do whatever the fuck he wanted on the internet all day?

so every day, he vented his profound frustrations at his coworkers and life situation (techbros, gamers, etc.) on this site for 7 hours after touching spreadsheets for ~1 hour, slowly loosing touch with any reality beyond silicon valley and the torment nexus that is the american media environment, becoming more of a paranoid hyperaggressive egomaniac as time went on

then, expecting a child with his wife, he decided "fuck this stupid shit, im trapped in a digital samsara doomed to repeat an endless cycle of debatebroism, im moving out to california in the middle of nowhere"

and he did just that using his savings from the bullshit job, leaving his techbro bullshit job to take up a farmers life allowed him to stop posting
