The Republican senator and Donald Trump loyalist Lindsey Graham...

Loyalist!? He has flip-flopped enough on Trump to make you dizzy!

[-] cheese_greater@lemmy.world 28 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Its called versatile. He tops and bottoms And plays both sides so he always comes out on top

God, his account of his drilling as part of the candidate selection intel process was so incredibly cagey. He's gotta have some big shit coming out at some point. There's just no way this dude is clean

Lindsey Graham lost what tiny modicum of respectability he had 7 years ago

[-] Drusas@fedia.io 16 points 2 months ago

Seven? It's been a lot longer than that.

Possibly not. It was such a tiny miniscule modicum that it could only be described in the terms of quantum mechanics. It was certainly not observable. But as soon as he turned back on his "batshit crazy" stance to become a Donald Trump water carrier, that theoretical quantum of respectability was snuffed out

“Over the last several years there’s been this kind of perversion that has taken place, I think, which is to suggest that the measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you beat down. When what we know is the real and true measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you lift up,” Harris said at a campaign appearance in Pennsylvania.

Everybody can take a lesson from these words.

When Trump loses by a significant margin, Graham will say it’s time to move on from Trump. And when Trump doesn’t go away, Graham will go to Mar-a-lago to grovel again.

It's so boring that American politics is like a soap opera for old people with only two characters

He's "warning" us? The man you supported for nearly a decade now, and you're warning us that he MIGHT WIN?

Fuck these losers, man.

[-] nova_ad_vitum@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 months ago

To be fair, I believe Graham was one of the Republicans that tried to warn people about Trump in 2016. If course, he fell in line like all the rest.

After a golf outing where Donald revealed the kompromat.

You had your chance, Lady G

Do you remember what happened to Ernst Röhm?

They can see through you. You should have done a Mike Pence. They’re coming after him, too, but at least he made things right with God and fled from the temple. You, you stayed inside, and then outed yourself as a traitor. Good fuckin luck. Röhm was just minding his business; what makes you think they’ll make an exception somehow for you?

The Human Weathervane speaks again.

[-] Ordo_Bellatores@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

Graham is a spineless attention seeking coward.

His "support for the troops" and "warnings" about trump are for one person only, him..

[-] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 7 points 2 months ago

“Yeah. I don’t think – I don’t look at vice-president Kamala Harris as a lunatic,” Graham told moderator Kristin Welker. “I look at her as the most liberal person to be nominated for president in the history of the United States.”

FDR.

Like Liberace, I can't believe Lindsey has never met the right woman to marry. /s

[-] AshMan85@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

[-] paf0@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Because Trump listens to reason?
