Dissapointed at how many people still drink the shit with this knowledge. Big ups to a local Palestinian restaurant for switching to Faygo.

Faygo.

Kinda makes sense that BDS would apply to US-made products. A bit hard to abide by that when you live here, though.

There is a cute grocery store near me that sells Arab products including sodas, spices, and produce, though.

fun fact tho, protesters of south african apartheid would pull products off the shelves, walk around them until they were essentially "spoiled" per grocery store policy, then yell "boycott South Africa" and leave the store.

Wait, how long were they walking until the cola and candy spoiled?

[-] marxisthayaca@hexbear.net 9 points 1 month ago

They weren’t pulling soda and candy. It was other products.

Reminder: once you hit 25, you can no longer drink soda. Only sparkling water with a lemon or cucumber slice. That's the rule.

I wish I stopped drinking soda sooner :/ honestly it's a nasty habit that I know gets attention but deserves more. I can't believe children across the world are introduced to coca cola at such an early age. My teeth are permanently damaged from almost daily soda intake. :(

We're all blessed DeSantis sugar scolds now.

I barely drink soda as it is but I'd go for some middle eastern brands, probably have real sugar too.

I'm working in the Middle East and two brands I keep seeing everywhere now are green cola (which I believe is Greek in origin) and Kinza cola (which I think is Saudi Arabian). There's certainly been a huge upsurge in Middle Eastern cola companies than there were prior to the genocide.

(They are also owned by CocaCola)

I found a YouTube link in your post. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.
