Don't mind me just posting skeleboi memes for october, but also fuck Ben Garrisons 8,500 labels on his political cartoons. I can see the joke I don't need everything labelled thanks

Wat. It's Ben Garrison. That's his thing. He makes fun of excessively labeled political cartoons by doing it over-the-top. He also has a sad Statue of Liberty in every comic.

I believe you're thinking of Kelly from The Onion

[–] alleycat@lemmy.world 10 points 1 month ago

Yeah, that's the one I was thinking about. I followed him on Twitter when it still existed, but haven't seen anything of him since I left.

Ben Garrison is the legitimate one. Although it's easy to misunderstand because people dunk on him with cum edits.

Edit: edits

It's confusing because there aren't enough labels, right?

[–] Letstakealook@lemm.ee 14 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Lol, maybe that's it. For real, though, I'm not entirely sure what this shithead is mad about in this instance. The only reason I even know he's a shithead is from the art style and signature. What is he even trying to convey with this image?

Don't try to find a deeper meaning in Ben Garrison's cartoons lol. If MAGA wins there will be no storms, it will all be sunshine and rainbows, and you will be FREE. If the demonrats win DEATH will come and you will DIE.

That's all there is to it really.

Makes about as much sense as any of Ben Garrison's work anyway.

Labels have always been a part of political comics
