/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

Every time Tuvok pisses her off she transports another Neelix out of him.

WHY CAN’T YOU SEPARATE THAT DAMN FLOWER. DON’T BLAME THE TRANSPORTER, BLAME THE TRANSPORT OPERATOR.

I think O’Brien could have gotten Tuvok and Neelix back the first time.

What if they did separate the flower, but it was vaporized and transformed into cancerous gas and they'll know know the cause of their mesothelioma?

If you hate feeling feelings you're still feeling feelings.

Hopefully you don't feel feeling feelings feels unfulfilling

I might love feelings if I ever had one of the good ones...

Cadet Tilly is a bold personality, and I understand if you are put off by it. Still adore her.

[–] negativenull@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

I adore Tilly as well

[–] Nuke_the_whales@lemmy.world 7 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Tilly was a bit much for me.

I couldn't stand Tilly, she was just so grating. Her character from Star Trek Online is equally as insufferable

[–] TheGrandNagus@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

I feel like she was alright in the beginning but very quickly became Flanderised

I have Borderline Personality Disorder.

I fucking hate feelings. I feel them too much!

[–] kayzeekayzee@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

There was that one episode where Tuvok decided he loved feelings too! Even Vulcans can have a soft interior

[–] ripcord@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Ah yes, Flowers for Algernon Tuvok.

[–] hopesdead@startrek.website 1 points 3 weeks ago

Or you know, the signs of illness.

[–] Wolf314159@startrek.website 5 points 3 weeks ago

I love feeling feelings. It's the people around me that don't care to much for them usually.
