Bernie Sanders is actually stupid. Corbyn crashed and burned but it's more because he's naive and refuses to play underhanded politics and purges and stuff. Bernie thinks he's being clever by phrasing things like this to try to pick up 'moderates' but each time he either makes himself look dumb/inconsistent or gets fucked over by the democratic party. AOC does this too.
