As I've always said John Brown is what happens when a rational and empathetic human being realizes the only way to save people from ultimate oppression via slavery is to kill the enslaver and free the enslaved by any means necessary. It's like a Gordian knot solution and yet you got these mfers going "well for his time he was crazy" no he was prolly one of the most rational white individual ever for his time on what must be done.

John Brown is the true example of what happens when a reasonable man does unreasonable things. And the only unreasonable things he did was get black people killed for his damned aspirations. But the slave owners and sympathizers? They deserved it. It was completely reasonable.
