Why does her name change?
I understand we need to move away from the personal automobile as it is currently conceived, and they are building houses without parking and adding transit infrastructure and such, but if only the very wealthy can afford to buy the housing being built, these are not the same demographics of people who use transit infrastructure and therefore require parking, gobbling up all the available street parking in the area and causing businesses to suffer as they can't be accessed by a wider majority of people from the suburbs. It's a cart before the horse kind of thing but I don't see it stopping anytime soon unfortunately.
Bill Clinton isn't currently president. Focus on the real problem first, and surprisingly you'll probably pull the rest down with him. Weird, eh?!

As in all types of research, yes. Some of it proves to be a good idea and gets wider adoption, some of it falls by the wayside. No one can predict which one it's going to be until the dust settles, so yes some money will get "wasted" but not in the same way as say, a politician's salary where they spend all their time stopping things from happening and don't actually do anything or achieve anything. That's a waste of taxpayer dollars.
So it wasn't a supply issue after all? Weird. It ended up being about selling them as a commodity for investment, just like everyone's been saying?! Who'd have thunk it.
Definitely same funding sources and playbook. If you can look to the south and say to yourself "Yeah, I want that" I personally think you should leave. This planet would be nice, but I'll settle for this country. We don't want you here.

Add in the fact that most insurance is tied directly into employment, Americans have much less options than the rest of the free world, unless you are filthy rich.
