This was such a specific act of terrorism that required so much synchronization with other governments to pull off. Imagine all the unspeakable acts that the US could order it's dogs to commit at a moment's notice.

Can someone please explain thorium extraction to me? I've heard the extraction of the element itself is very environmentally harmful at least compared to uranium (not saying this isn't a positive step in combatting climate change)

I did recently too! It's crazy how far the homebrew scene has come.

One I never see mentioned: Alice in Wonderland on DS. You'd think it was based on the awful 2009 tim burton movie, but it's actually a completely original puzzle platformer with great design and a fantastic art style.

Edit: also suggest you download MGBA for it because that's the only system afaik that can emulate the gyroscope GBA games like Yoshi Topsy Turvy and Warioware twisted.

The propaganda really does hurt, especially seeing what it does to others. So many people I love I now have to contend with being pretty much fascists who at near every chance given will gleefully talk my ear off about how stupid the Palestinians are for not liking the US or how protestors should be locked up/run over; they even donate to the IDF. Perfectly intelligent and empathetic people suddenly acting like monsters. It's made it so much harder to be around those close to me.

Kin-Dza-Dza uses a desolate desert planet as a satirical analogy to capitalism. It was released near the end of the Soviet Union's existence and is quite interesting to watch.

They're all around me here in NYC... I really should start tearing a few I see on my walk home down.

Special Economic Zones. Basically where the country keeps it's main industry sectors. However, apart from name, it doesn't have much to do with China's SEZ, so this ultra equates the two for no reason.

USA: "We don't want anything to do with you China!"

China: "Okay" drops U.S. dollar in trade

USA: "Wait no"

I love adorable animals, I'll squeal with delight whenever I see a video of one. Alpacas are my favorite.

Reminds me of that tweet saying literacy was an evil weapon used by communist regimes and talking about how great it was that their Soviet grandpa never learned to read.

Thank you for your answer, I do have more questions though: So did he believe in allowing more private enterprise in China, or was that not really Deng's thing until after Mao died? And what was Mao's opinion of him?

Was Liu Shaoqi a right-deviationist or a true revolutionary? Either way I don't think he deserved what happened to him, but I also don't know much about the guy and what he believes or what got him the name of "capitalist-roader"
